About
Ian Haynes Photography delivers a premium wedding and portaiture photography service at venues across North West England. Ian prides himself in providing a high quality personalised experience to both private and commercial customers alike. His products range from storybook wedding albums to large format exhibition prints. Like many leading photographers Ian's interest in photography developed during his childhood, picking up his first manual camera at the age of 12. For the following 5 years he shot exclusively monochrome film, which he processed and printed himself. Unknowingly this work nurtured an eye for black and white images, a resource Ian still draws heavily upon today. His practical understanding of the lighting, the camera and darkroom equipment was rewarded when in 1993 his photography secured his first formal academic grade A from the National Examining Board. Building upon this academic foundation Ian’s photography has matured, absorbing full colour in film & transparency and later in digital capture. His freelance work has included landscape & still life, athletics & dance, studio, location and of course, wedding shoots. Today, in his thirties, Ian’s work is captured almost exclusively on digital format cameras with Contemporary wedding and portrait photography forming the mainstay of his photographic work. To see Ian's presentation products, albums and prints and canvasses first hand please get in touch to arrange your compimentary, personal consultation. In addition to viewing his sample albums ian will happliy answer any questions you have, helping you to make the correct decisions for your event. Second shooter? Ian doesn't always work alone, sometimes he will have a second shooter or assistant working with him. Ian himself occasionally works with other photographers in a supporting role, for more information about this service for photographers please get in touch. Why iPhotix.com ? It's short and sweet, a play on Ian's initials, and it's much easier to remember and to type into a browser than www.ianhaynesphotography.com, but that works too! But what about ... ? If there’s anything not covered here, or anything else you would like to ask please get in touch. |
